875 4th St., San Rafael, CA.

On the south end of 4th St. between Cijos
& Lootens, above Sacred Tibetshop.

This is a weekly gathering for young adults (ages 18 - 35) interested in the exploration of meditation and mindfulness. The intention is to create a safe space where we can practice and share through sitting & walking mediation with time for discussion. This may take the shape of choosing to reflect on different topics or what’s most present in your practice/life as well as listening to dharma talks or reading some of the teachings together. We aim to support one another in living and engaging more fully and clearly in our own lives with compassion for our-self and the world!

The ability to be self-aware has been a gift which helped me surpass much anxiety and stress I had been causing myself at the time. I’ve now been practicing mindfulness and meditation for the last seven years and have integrated it into daily life. I see it more as a lifestyle choice more than anything else and a way to be in relation with myself and the world. One of the best fruits of my practice has been to fully love and accept myself as I am and to continue to fall in love with myself and life over and over again, moment to moment. I went back to school at The Academy of Intuition Medicine® and received a Masters Certification in Intuition Medicine®. This has taught me how to hone into and listen to my intuition as well as learning energy medicine management tools. The impact of my practice has been so great that I wish to spread the teachings and tools to others so they may also choose how to live their lives. As my practice continues to grow and evolve I hope to share in the journey with others. As one of my teachers once said “This being human is messy” and being able to accept that alone is a life-long practice. So let’s learn to accept our human-ness together! "

"My journey began in college when I was given Eckhart Tolle’s book A New Earth. It sparked my awakening and directed me inward. I started to see my own mind patterns and bring more compassion and peace into my life.
